A happy man sits atop a bright abstract pattern of warm colors with the message "You Are A Thumbs Up!" below him. For many years, I have been compiling a wide range of magazine cutouts to use as references for or as media in various projects. Well one day I decided to start playing with my assorted cutouts... and so with pictures of assorted ancient and contemporary artworks, I created the happy man in my “You Are A Thumbs Up” collage poster.

The happy man is mounted on white paper to which I added bright colors with colored pencils and reflective silver acrylic paint. The text is stylized in bright blue tones to stand out against the background's complimentary orange tones and other warm colors. This poster is made in the hope of encouraging positive thinking and a little bit of laughter to brighten up each day.

The poster is approximately 12 inches (30.5 cm) wide by 18 inches (45.7 cm) tall and is unframed. It will be carefully shipped flat through the US Postal Service.
