Woman Holding Cane, Cubist Caricature Drawing

Drawn from life, but inspired by cubism is this caricature drawing of a woman holding a cane.  I purposely exaggerated the figure's curves and geometric shapes  to emphasize a more dynamic pose.  I initially started the drawing with red conte charcoal and then refined it with red colored pencil on newsprint paper.  It is approximately 21 1/2 inches (54.6 cm) wide by 31 1/2 inches (80 cm) tall.  The drawing is stored flat, but once ordered, it will be carefully rolled and shipped in a mailing tube through the US Postal Service.
