Classmates 9: Swoosh, Charcoal Drawing

A dynamic gesture drawing of a person coming to a quick stop just in time for the swoosh as something flies by him.  Drawn from life of my classmate posing, I used an impressionist style with charcoal on newsprint to give the look of the figure in motion using soft lines with varying shades of gray.  It is approximately  15 inches (38.1 cm) wide by 24 inches (61 cm) tall. The drawing will be carefully rolled and shipped out in a mailing tube through the US Postal Service.
